2023 Sauvignon Blanc: 100% SBL, 11.9% ABV, 0% RS
Color: Still, Bright, Reflective, Very Pale Gold
Nose: Clean, Pear, Golden Apple, Honey Dew Melon, White Flower
Taste: Dry, Pear, Green Melon, Lime Zest, Bright Acidity, Medium Alcohol, Light Body
Finish: Bright, Lime Citrus on the Finish with lasting acidity
Overall: This is your “Go To” on a hot afternoon. Light, lively and refreshing. Pairs well with shellfish and anything Asian.
2022 Cabernet Franc – 87.5% Cabernet Franc, 12.5% Tannat. 13.5% ABV
Color: Still, Medium Garnet, Bright
Nose: Clean, Red Currants, Strawberry, Red Cherry, Nutmeg, Medium Intensity.
Taste: Dry, Red Currants, Cherry, Strawberry, Black Pepper. Medium Intensity, Medium Acidity, Alcohol and Tannins. Medium Body.
Finish: Cherry and Strawberry prevail with silky tannins. Medium length finish.
Overall: A well balanced, well integrated wine with red fruit flavors and aromas, silky tannins and a soft finish.
2021 Barrel Select Chardonnay: 100% Chardonnay, 13.1% ABV, 0% RS, Barrel Fermented and aged 7 mo. in FO
Color: Still, Brilliant, Reflective, Medium Straw hue.
Nose: Medium intensity, pear, green apple, honeysuckle, nutmeg.
Taste: Dry, medium acidity, medium alcohol, creamy, apple, pear, honey, soft spice, medium intensity flavors and aromas. Great balance!
Finish: Long Finish, cooked apple, pear, soft spice.
Overall: A very well-balanced wine with lovely secondary and tertiary flavors and aromas. Pair this one with shell fish or salmon.

Hemera: 25% Traminette, 25% Seyval Blanc, 25% Viognier, 25% Sauvignon Blanc, 11.7% ABV, 0% RS
Color: Still, clear, brilliant, medium straw.
Nose: Clean, medium intensity, pear, green apple, honeysuckle, spice.
Taste: Dry, ripe apple, pear, orange peel, high acidity, light body.
Finish: Orange citrus, long finish.
Overall: A unique combination of hybrid and vinifera grapes. Great summer wine!
2022 Chardonnay: 100% Chardonnay, tank fermented, 12.3% ABV, 2% RS
Color: Still, brilliant, reflective, pale straw.
Nose: Clean, medium intensity, pear, green apple, honeysuckle, nutmeg.
Taste: Off dry, medium acid and alcohol, creamy texture, MacIntosh apple, pear, apricot, pineapple, nutmeg, honey, well balanced.
Finish: Soft, creamy, tropical fruit, honey, medium length.
Overall: Soft lusciousness, Creamy texture, tree and tropical fruits, nicely balanced.
2022 Mandolin: 50% Traminette, 50% Seyval, 11.6 ABV, .2% RS
Color: Pale gold, brilliant, reflective.
Nose: Citrus – orange, lemon, ripe apple. Light intensity.
Taste: Off dry (sweet). Lemon, orange, apple, medium acid, light alcohol, light body.
Finish: Clean, light, lemony, medium length.
Overall: A very light, clean refreshing wine for those who like a little sweetness.
2022 Viognier: 100% VIO, 12.3% ABV, 0% RS
Color: Still , clear, brilliant, very pale straw.
Nose: Clean, light intensity, pear, lemon, wet stone.
Taste: Dry, pear, lemon, melon, apple, honey, medium acidity, medium body.
Overall: A good example of a Virginia Viognier.
2023 Rosé: 75% Merlot, 25% Syrah, 12.7 % ABV, 0% RS
Color: Still, bright, reflective, medium salmon.
Nose: Clean, cherry, strawberry, ripe melon.
Taste: Off dry, cherry, strawberry, pomengranate, green melon. Nice balance of acids and alcohol.
Finish: Mostly strawberry with crisp acidity.
Overall: This is a beautiful sipping wine and always pairs well with fish or spicy foods.
2020 Syrah: 100% Syrah, 13.3% ABV, 0% RS, aged 18 mo., French oak
Color: Still, clear, bright, medium ruby.
Nose: Clean, red currants, cherry, clove spice, cedar, medium intensity.
Taste: Dry, red currants, strawberry, clove, cedar, high tannins, medium acidity, body and intensity.
Finish: Dried fruit, spice, long finish. Tannins linger.
Overall: Long finish with nice tannins. This will age well!
2021 Petit Verdot: 100% PVT, 12.6% ABV, 0% RS, 21 mos. in FO
Color: Still, deep purple, opaque.
Nose: Clean, blackberry, black cherry, black currants, plum, cedar.
Taste: Blackberry, black cherry, clove, vanilla, medium tannins and acidity, full body.
Finish: Dried fruits, spice, warm alcohol., intense finish.
Overall: A classic Virginia Petit Verdot with deep, dark fruit and barrel aging flavors.
Alethia (N/V): 40% Merlot, 30% Cab Sauvignon, 30% Cab Franc, 7 mo. In FO, 13.7% ABV, 0% RS
Color: Still, clear, medium garnet.
Nose: Clean, strawberry, red currants, plum, medium intensity.
Taste: Dry, red currants, dried cherry, cooking spice, burnt wood, smoke, medium body, tannins and acidity.
Finish: Dried fruit, long finish.
Overall: Terrific lighter red wine.
2020 Merlot: 100% Merlot, 13.3% ABV, 0% RS, 18 mo. In FO, 18mo. In FO
Color: Still, clear, bright, deep garnet.
Nose: Clean, cherry, raspberry, red currants, strawberry, cinnamon spice, vanilla.
Taste: Dry, dried cherry, red currants, strawberry, cinnamon, medium tannins and body, high acidity.
Finish: Dried fruits, spice, grainy tannins.
Overall: Will be a great wine someday. Needs time.
2020 Tannat: 100% Tannat, 13.3% ABV, 0% RS, 18 mo. in FO
Color: Deep plum purple, opaque.
Nose: Dark fruits – Black Currants, blackberries, plum, cedar, cooking spice, high intensity.
Taste: Black currants, plum, blackberries, cedar wood, soft cinnamon, chocolate, high intensity flavors, medium high acidity, medium tannin, medium alcohol.
Finish: Long finish with notes of dried fruit and lingering acidity.
Overall: Big, bold varietal with dark fruits, prominent French oak flavors and aromas. Would benefit from time in the bottle.
2021 Vintner’s Reserve: 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 25% Tannat, 25% Petit Verdot, 12.6% ABV, 0% RS, 18 mo. In FO
Color: Still, opaque, Deep Purple.
Nose: Clean, Black Raspberry, Black Currents, Cherry, Plum, Cigar Bos, Chocolate. Medium Intensity.
Taste: Dry, Dark Fruits (Black Cherry, Plum, Black Currants), Oak, Chocolate, Medium Acidity, Medium Alcohol, Medium “Rustic” Tannins, Balanced.
Finish: Dried fruit dissipating to lingering cacao powder.
Overall: Flavors of mature fruit, and those of the barrel (oak, cacao powder). Rustic tannins that will, in time, become mellow and smooth.
Hope’s Legacy: 50% red raspberries, 50% red wine blend, 13.8% ABV, 6% RS
Color: Clear, bright, ruby red.
Nose: Intense raspberry, re currants, vanilla.
Taste: Sweet, Big raspberry, strawberry, vanilla medium tannins, acidity, body.
Finish: Sweet, warm raspberries.
Overall: Unique dessert wine!
2018 Doukénie Sparkling: 100% Chardonnay, 12% ABV, .5% RS, 12mo. sur lee aging, made in the traditional method
Color: Clear, sparkling, brilliant, medium gold.
Nose: Clean, ripe apple, pear, vanilla, bread.
Taste: Off-dry (Brut), ripe apple, pear, clove, vanilla, medium acidity, full bodied.
Finish: Pear, apple cooking spice, lone finish.
Overall: Our first sparkling wine!
2022 Zeus: 46% Tannat, 46% Merlot, 8% Tannat Port. 13.9% ABV
Still, Deep Purple, Opaque.
Nose: Clean, Blackberry, Plum, Black Currant, Wet Stone.
Taste: Dry, Blackberry, Black Currants, Plum, Black Cherry, Cedar, Cacao Powder, Full Body, Medium Acid, Medium Alcohol, High Tannin, Balanced.
Finish: Dark Ripe Fruits, Lingering Rustic tannins, Rich, Long Finish.
Overall: As the name implies, Zeus is a big wine. Full bodies and very complex for a young wine. A touch of our Tannat Port give Zeus a unique smooth richness. Pair this with the best cut of beef you can find, cooked crisp on the outside, and tender rate on the inside.
2023 Pinot Gris: 100% Pinot Gris, 12.5% ABV
Color: Still, Bright, Reflective, Pale Straw Color.
Nose: Clean, Peach, Pear, Orange Citrus, Medium Intensity.
Taste: Off Dry, Peach, Melon, Lemon Zest, Medium Acidity, Medium Alcohol, Light Body, Nice Balance.
Finish: Citrus flavors come through in the end with bright acidity in the long finish.
Overall: A crisp, light, refreshing wine perfect for shell fish or Alfredo pasta!
2021 Cabernet Sauvignon: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13.4% ABV
Color: Still, deep ruby, clear reflective.
Nose: Clean, Black Cherry, Black Currants, Prune, Caramel, Vanilla. Medium Intensity.
Taste: Dry, Black Cherry, Black Raspberry, Black Current, Cedar, Caramel, Vanilla. Bright acidity, medium tannins, medium alcohol, full bodies. Well balanced.
Finish: Long finish with notes black fruits and lingering acidity.
Overall: A very good vintage of Cabernet Sauvignon. True to the varietal.
