THE VINEYARDS & CELLAR

In 1985, the owners of Windham Farm decided to plant wine grapes in addition to the row crops they were already growing. The grapes have flourished on the gently rolling topography with great sun exposure and air flow from Short Hill Mountain. As one of the earliest wineries in Loudoun County, we are celebrating 40 years under vine in 2025.

Estate-Grown Grapes

The vineyards at Doukénie Winery are well-established, productive, and well-maintained. We currently have 23 acres under vine, yielding approximately 65-70 tons of fruit each year.
